Asaf Jacobs, MD

Welcome to my practice! As a Stanford-trained, board-certified psychiatrist, with an additional specialization in addiction medicine, I am dedicated to helping you become the optimal version of yourself. Your story is unique, and understanding the nuances of your emotions, thoughts, and decision-making is crucial. Old habits that were once beneficial, may no longer be serving you. Building a new process that aligns with your life goals can ignite positive momentum and allow you to grow.

I use a variety of modalities to craft a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs, including psychotherapy, medication management, and wearable technology. My passion lies in supporting individuals facing anxiety, depression, and a range of addictive behaviors—such as alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, opioids, video gaming, gambling, and social media. I employ evidence-based strategies to help you reclaim your time.

As a former personal trainer and current physician with degrees in neuroscience and psychology, I am passionate about helping individuals optimize their body-mind-brain connection. I have extensive experience working with war veterans, Silicon Valley executives, and college athletes, assisting them in elevating their mindset and optimizing their health, while eliminating harmful distractions, such as excessive alcohol and tobacco use.
